Donor Network of Arizona hosts ‘Donate Life Day at the Capitol’

PHOENIX (KYMA) - A big day for organ donation in Arizona Wednesday.

Donor Network of Arizona was at the State Capitol in Phoenix sharing stories of organ donors who passed away and saved lives, as well as those who have received the gift of life.

The annual event is called "Donate Life Day at the Capitol."

Some people also registered as organ donors. Last year, Arizona organ donors saved the lives of 1,083 people. That's the most ever in a single year.
