Organ donation in Arizona sets records

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA) - Organ donors in Arizona saved more lives than ever before in 2025.

More than 1,000 lives were saved by Arizona organ donors last year, according to Donor Network of Arizona, the state's organ procurement organization.

421 selfless organ donors, and their families, from Arizona made that possible, which was also another record.

In addition, more than 224,000 people registered as organ donors in Arizona for the first time last year.
