CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Snow blankets pine trees in Flagstaff

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (CBS, KYMA) - Snow and rain developed over Flagstaff, Arizona Friday morning, with more on the way, the National Weather Service (NWS) warned.

According to the NWS, some heavier showers "and even a rumble of thunder" were expected early Friday afternoon into early Friday evening "before clearing out tonight through the weekend."

Footage taken by X user @bobthe1dog shows conditions on US Route 180 Friday morning.

Drivers were encouraged to use caution on the roads.
