Crews in Arizona rescue man trapped in floodwaters

PHOENIX (CNN, KYMA) - Multiple fire agencies worked early Sunday to save a man who got trapped in New River floodwaters, and the rescue was captured on camera.

Rescuers responded around 6:00 a.m. to the area of 19th Avenue and Tanya Trail, just south of Desert Hills Drive.

Details are limited, but aerial video captured by Arizona's Family photojournalists showed a white truck trapped in floodwaters in a residential area near a wash.

Footage also shows crews were able to position a fire engine ladder truck to bring the driver to safety.

It's unclear if any injuries were reported.
