Firefighters in Arizona rescue injured worker stuck in stadium lights

MESA, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Firefighters in Arizona helped rescue an injured worker stuck at the top of a light pole last week.

First responders in Mesa say the worker was changing light fixtures when he suffered a head injury, and felt he couldn't climb back down the structure.

A crew spent nearly an hour climbing to the top of the pole to help the man down.

It happened on the north side of Hohokam Stadium, which serves as the spring training home of the Athletics.
