Avian flu detected again in Arizona farm

(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - A fourth farm in Maricopa County has tested positive for the Avian flu, also known as "bird flu."

According to the Arizona Department of Agriculture, the test sample was found during routine surveillance check.

The CDC says that the risk to the general public is very low as of now.

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality is now working to ensure that the affected chicken carcasses are safely disposed of to minimize the spread of infection.
