Jury to deliberate Lori Vallow Daybell’s second Arizona trial

COURT TV / YouTube

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY/NBC) - Lori Vallow Daybell's second trial in Arizona is now in the jury's hands after both the prosecution and Vallow Daybell, who represented herself, presented their closing arguments.

This all comes after the state rested its case in day five of Vallow Daybell's latest trial.

She's already been convicted in Idaho and Arizona in the deaths of her children and former husband.

In this case, Lori Vallow Daybell is accused of conspiring with her brother, Alex Cox, to kill her niece's ex-husband, Brandon Boudreaux.

Investigators believe Cox tried to shoot Boudreaux outside his home in Gilbert in October 2019. Boudreaux wasn't injured and even testified against Valllow Daybell in this case.

She's pleaded not guilty in this case.

Vallow Daybell rested her case Wednesday afternoon without calling witnesses or presenting any evidence. Then, each side went into closing arguments.

Deliberations will continue Thursday morning.
