Arizona man arrested and charged for arson at a Tesla dealership

MESA, Ariz. (CNN, KYMA/KECY) - An Arizona man is facing arson charges for setting a fire at a Tesla dealership in the Phoenix area.

Police say 35-year-old Ian Moses set a Cybertruck on fire at around 2:00 a.m. Monday. The vehicle burned completely, but firefighters contained the fire before it spread.

Some of the flames appear to have caused minor damage to the outside wall of the dealership building.

Graffiti can also be seen spray painted on it.

Similar acts of vandalism have been reported at other Tesla dealerships around the country.
