CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Snow flurries dust northern Arizona town

ASH FORK, Ariz. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Light snowfall dusted a northern Arizona town Thursday after a low pressure system made its way through the region.

Footage filmed and posted to X by Carter Mullen-Carey shows snow flurries in Ash Fork, Arizona, about 50 miles west of Flagstaff, Thursday night.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), some areas near Flagstaff received over six inches of snow.

The NWS forecast additional snow showers on Friday, with rain and graupel in areas below 5,000 feet of elevation.
