Arizona woman reunites with the first responders who saved her life

CHANDLER, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A reunion this week for an Arizona woman and the two men who saved her life.

Aymee Ruiz clung to Peoria firefighter Asa Paguia and Chandler Police Officer Brian Larison when they met again Thursday.

Ruiz had just dropped her kids at school Tuesday when a cement truck rear-ended her on the highway. Her truck flipped on its side and burst into flames.

Larison and Paguia both pulled over to help, smashing a window and pulling Ruiz to safety.

"I thought my life was over. I seriously thought it was. You just think of all the moments that you just have, your happy moments and you just think it's all going to be over from there. But you guys pulled through. So happy. So glad. I seriously didn't think I'd make it out without you guys," Ruiz expressed.
