UPDATE: Yuma County Sheriff’s Office finds missing man

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Sheriff's Office released an update stating the missing man was found.

On Tuesday, April 12, David Lee Anderson was found at about 2:35 p.m. and is safe.


YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) received a missing person's report for 81-year-old David Lee Anderson.

Anderson was last seen outside his RV in Bouse, Ariz. off of the VFW on Highway 95 on April 6, 2022, and was reported missing on April 9.

He is described to be approximately 5’11” tall, weighing 185 lbs., with gray hair and blue eyes.

Authorities found Anderson's personal belongings, RV and vehicle at his last known location.

YCSO is still searching.
