Man found dead in car; Police say it’s a homicide

GLOBE, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY/AP) - The Gila County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) has identified the body of a Whiteriver man who was discovered dead inside a car as Leo Harry White.

A passerby spotted White's car parked along U.S. Route 60 on Tuesday, calling law enforcement. The Arizona Department of Public Safety and deputies responded to the welfare check request.

Deputies confirm the death of the 31-year-old is currently being investigated as a homicide. According to police reports, White was shot multiple times.

The GCSO has not released any other information about the alleged homicide.
