At least 3 officers killed in military plane crash in Sudan

CAIRO (AP) — Sudanese authorities say a military plane crashed in the White Nile south of the capital, Khartoum, killing all on board. Authorities retrieved three bodies of officers, including that of a lieutenant colonel. Search efforts were still ongoing. The crash was the latest involving a military plane in Sudan. Aircraft crashes are common in Sudan mostly due to poor aviation safety record.
