Thomas scores 20 to lift Portland St. over S. Utah

BOISE, Idaho — Khalid Thomas had 20 points as Portland State got past Southern Utah 77-65 in the Big Sky Conference Tourney quarterfinals. Maizen Fausett led the Thunderbirds on Thursday with 19 points and nine rebounds.
