Slater lifts Long Beach St. over CS Bakersfield 74-65

LONG BEACH, Calif. — Colin Slater had 23 points as Long Beach State stretched its win streak to seven games, getting past Cal State Bakersfield 74-65. Kaleb Higgins led the Roadrunners with a season-high 21 points.
