NYC voting machines not working in Westchester County

NEW YORK (CBS, KYMA) - The voting machines in Westchester County, New York, are down and not accepting election ballots Tuesday morning.

Officials say the scanners started having problems when the polls opened at 6 a.m.

Every scanner in the county is down.

Voters are being instructed to stay in line and fill out a paper ballot, which will be placed in orange emergency ballot bags for counting later.

The New York State Board of Elections said there is no disruption to voting.

There is no word as to when the problem will be fixed.
