Day 11 of U.S. strikes on Iran

(NBC, KYMA) - The military is marking its 11th consecutive day of strikes on Iran.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said the strikes targeted Iranian military operations centers, maritime capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities, and military logistics infrastructure.

Footage released by CENTCOM on social media purportedly showed military operations and surveillance video of the strikes.

According to CENTCOM, the strikes aimed to "further degrade" Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz after Iran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels transiting the strait.

President Donald Trump also chimed in with a post on Truth Social, warning, "From this point forward, any time the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz the United States will bomb and destroy one bridge or power plant."

It comes as he prepares to attend the dignified transfer of U.S. service members who were killed in the Middle East amid an escalation in the war with Iran.
