CBS 13 Sports: First look at Yuma Fight League 8

Wildcats take home conference title, Aztecs not as lucky, Sarah Harman 3v3 Basketball Tournament, Sunrise Optimist pickleball fundraiser for Special Olympics Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Yuma Fight League 8 was back for its first-ever card outdoors.

University of Arizona topped the University of Houston to be crowned Big 12 Champions. Koa Peat and Braydon Burries both finished with 21 points in the 79-74 win.

San Diego State University was not able to pull out the win in the Mountain West Conference Championship. They fell 73-62 to the Utah State Aggies.

Christ Lutheran Church in Yuma hosted its 12th annual Sarah Harman 3v3 Basketball Tournament to raise money for the Yuma County Anti Drug Coalition.

Sunrise Optimist hosted its 3rd annual pickleball tournament to raise money for Special Olympics Yuma. The event was at Cocopah RV and Golf Resort.
