Tracking more 80’s for Super Bowl weekend

KYMA

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - I'm tracking great weather ahead for Super Bowl weekend! We have a nice and sunny end to our work week with a calm, quiet, and warm weekend in store. We’re seeing mid and low 80’s this weekend which is warmer than normal.

It will be a dry weekend with some possible clouds Saturday yet a mostly sunny Sunday.  I’m tracking cooler temperatures next week closer to our seasonable average.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures near 10 degrees above normal will continue today through the start of next week with lower desert highs in the upper 70's to lower 80's. There is minor HeatRisk starting today through at least Monday in the lower desert regions. Overall dry weather conditions should prevail through at least early next week before a pattern change later next week brings cooler temperatures and potential precipitation chances.
