Venezuelan opposition leader ready to move country forward with democracy

WASHINGTON (KYMA) - Venezuelan opposition leader MarĂ­a Corina Machado spoke Friday morning on her meeting with President Trump.

Machado told President Trump that Venezuela is ready to move forward with democracy.

Machado gave President Trump a Nobel Peace Prize Medallion during their meeting. The Nobel Committee states that the medal can be transferred but not the title.

"Venezuela is going to be free and that's going to be achieved with the support of the people of the United States and the president," said President Trump.

CIA Director John Ratcliff traveled to Venezuela to meet with Acting President Delcy Rodriguez sand say the United States is looking forward to an improved working relationship.
