Mugshot released of man arrested in connection to double murder in Ohio
(NBC, KYMA) - The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office in Illinois has released a mugshot of the man arrested in connection to a double murder in Ohio.
Official say Michael David McKee shot and killed his ex-wife and her husband inside their home in Columbus, Ohio.
Spencer and Monique Tepe were found dead inside their home after he failed to show up for work at his dental practice, and a friend came by their home to check on the couple. That's when their bodies were found.
The couple's two children, ages four and one, were also found in the home but were not physically harmed.
McKee and Monique Tepe were married from 2015 to 2017 and share no children together.
McKee is a medical doctor specializing in vascular surgery, according to online license records.
What led up to the shooting is not yet known.
McKee is set to make his first court appearance later Monday in Rockford, Illinois.
