Pioneers Memorial Hospital welcomes first baby boy and girl of 2026
IMPERIAL VALLEY, Calif. (KYMA) - The doctors and nurses at Pioneers Memorial Hospital are pleased to announce the arrival of the first baby boy, and baby girl, of 2026 born in the Imperial Valley.
Parents Esly Ortiz and Christopher Moreno welcomed their son, Itzan, Thrusday morning at 3:36 a.m.
He weighed in at 6 lbs, 11 oz.
Elizabeth Santiago was born at 4:39 a.m to Lizeth Tinajero and Brian Santiago, and she weighed 7 lbs, 7oz.
Congratulations on the arrival of these newborns, marking a joyous start to the new year for these families and the entire community.
