Remains of missing lawyer found in grave in San Luis, Mexico
SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA) - The human remains of a missing lawyer were found in a clandestine grave in San Luis, Mexico.
Authorities say the remains were of attorney Raul Adrian Herrera Lopez. He was abducted outside of his home on the night of July 5, 2025.
They found him during a search carried out by various collectives from Mexicali and San Luis, Mexico.
His relatives identified him through a tattoo.
"We informed the family that he had a tattoo that said Andrea. We thought that was what it said due to the condition of the body but in reality it was Adrian, that was key to the identification. It is very likely that in the next hours the body will be delivered to the family," said Soraya Ana, president of search collective B.C.
Another body was found in the same place, but has not yet been identified.
