Fire in California burns nearly 1,200 acres

SIERRA BROOKS, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Firefighters are battling a blaze that is burning near Sierra Brooks in California.

According to officials, the fire has burned nearly 1,200 acres and is at 0% containment so far.

An evacuation order is in place for the west side of Sierra Brooks and portions of Antelope Valley.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
