Local school hosting farmer’s market tomorrow
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Gary A. Knox Elementary School will host a student-run Farmer's market tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The farmer's market is to support their Agricultural Science program and will be selling broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, kale, cilantro, and lettuce (green leaf, iceberg, romaine).
You can visit the students' garden and buy a bag of student-grown vegetables for $10.
The market will be located at the school on 2926 S. 21st Drive which is across the Yuma Main Library.
