First Lady joins Mexican students for Tochito NFL flag football
MEXICO CITY, Mex. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - The first lady joined local students for a Tochito NFL flag football event in Mexico City Monday.
Tochito NFL is the National Football League's flag football program for children and youth in Mexico that promotes gender equality and girls' empowerment.
The first couple has also traveled to Mexico City to attend the North American leaders summit Monday and tomorrow.
The White House said the trip will highlight the president's commitment to strengthening ties between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. In addition, it will advance their shared priorities for the region.
The First Lady's schedule will then focus on our shared cultural connections and empowering women and girls.
