Three-year old shoved onto train tracks

32 year old woman charged with assault, attempted assault, and reckless endangerment

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - On Wednesday night, a three-year old girl was pushed off a platform and onto the train tracks below at the Gateway Transit Center in Portland, Oregon.

Witnesses said that there was no train coming at the time that the child was pushed.

The suspect is identified as 32 year old, Brianna Lace Workman.

Workman was arrested and charged with assault, attempted assault, reckless endangerment and other charges.

The District Attorney is requesting she be held without bail.

The child was quickly rescued and is safe.
