Cibola girls basketball takes down Gila Ridge with big game at home

The Lady Raiders opened the game with a 9-2 run and never looked back as they earned thier sixth win on the year - 13 On Your Side's Luis Lopez reports

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Cibola Raiders girls basketball defeated Gila Ridge at home 67-10 on Monday night to get to a record of 6-2 on the year.

The Lady Raiders would quickly grab a hold of the lead, as an early bucket from Kiara Hinton gave Cibola a 2-0 lead.

The bucket would then spark a 9-2 run for head coach Anthony Gerg's squad.

Buckets would come with ease the rest of the night, as the Lady Raiders would go on to drop 56 more points en route to the win.

Cibola will next be in action on Tuesday Dec 5 when they go on the road to take on Fairfax.

Meanwhile, Gila Ridge drops to a record of 2-2 on the season.

The Hawks will next take the court on Friday Dec 9 when they take on Westview on the road.
