New Hispanic cancer support group

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A group of local women has assembled to fight cancer in Yuma.

"Vive" is a support group of 30 Hispanic women who have beaten cancer or who are patients undergoing treatment.

"Just to hear the word cancer your world ends so I came depressed and didn't know where to go, so the cancer croup, the support group has helping me tremendously," stated cancer survivor Sonia Morales.

According to data from CDC, breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer among women in the United States.
