Lane restrictions and construction on US 95 in Yuma

These restrictions will be effective from October 22-24 in the Foothills

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Department of Transportation said there will be lane restrictions and construction on US 95 between Avenue 9E and Fortuna Road in Yuma.

The restrictions will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 22 to Sunday, October 23, and resumes from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, October 24.

Contractors will pave and stripe the road on Monday, October 24, construction is part of the US 95 corridor widening and reconstruction project.

Here are the following restrictions:

• US 95 will have one lane open between Avenue 9E (milepost 31.86) and Fortuna Road
• There will be flaggers and police officers to help direct drivers through the workzone
• 14-foot vehicle width restriction in place
• Speed limit reduced to 35 mph
