Man sentenced 22 years for setting home on fire while victim was inside

Dion James Anagal from Chinle, Arizona was sentenced to 22 years in prison

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - A 44-year-old man was sentenced to 22 years in prison along with five years of supervised release and previously pleaded guilty for Second Degree Murder.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office District of Arizona, Dion James Anagal murdered the victim by setting her home on fire while she was inside and died in the fire.

The murder happened on the Navajo Nation where Anagal is also an enrolled member.
