‘Cut for the Cause’ hair cut event on October 23

Cut for the Cause sponsored by Sheltra Insurance will have hair cuts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a good cause

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The 14th annual 'Cut for the Cause' hair cut event will be on Sunday, October 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will be located at Fluid Energies Inc, 777 West 27th Street, Yuma, Arizona 85364.

Walk-ins are welcomed on a first come first assisted basis and appointments can be scheduled by phone at (928) 276-4605.

There will be volunteer stylists available to give a free basic haircut for individuals that would like to cut eight or more inches of hair that will be donated to a Wigs for Cancer Patients program.

Stylists will also be doing a traditional basis hair cut with a minimum of a $20 donation for the program as well.

Massages will also be offered for one dollar per minute with a minimum of a $20 donation.

Masks are optional but other sanitary precautions will be taken to try and protect the health and safety of the community.
