FBI warns voters of election crime and threats against election workers

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of American democracy, and the FBI will make sure election voters and workers are safe.

For election crimes, they fall into different categories: ballot/voter fraud, campaign finance violations, and civil rights violations, such as voter suppression or voter intimidation.

On the other hand, the threats made against election workers include telephone communications, social media posts, e-mail communication, and in-person communication.
