Lane restrictions on US 95 starting Oct. 3 for construction
US 95 will have one lane open between mileposts 67 and 80 from Oct. 3 to Dec. 21
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) announced there will be lane restrictions on US 95 between mileposts 67 and 80, that is located between Yuma and Quartzsite for road construction.
Crews will be scheduled to replace several pavement areas, apply oil-based sealant, and apply pavement markings for mileposts 67 to 80 said ADOT.
Lane restrictions will occur Mondays to Fridays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Monday, October 3 and ending Wednesday, December 21.
Here are the restrictions:
- US 95 will have one lane available only with alternating north and southbound travel between mileposts 67 and 80.
- There will be flaggers, a pilot truck, and public safety personnel that will help direct traffic throughout the work zone.
- A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- Speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
- Restrictions will be in 3-mile increments.
