Helping Kids is Kool Family Picnic fundraiser on Sept. 30

This fundraiser is for the foundation of YRMC's Pediatric Oncology Fund

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Local businesses and organization are coming together to help children with cancer.

They have collected $8,000 so far but still need $2,000 more to reach their goal.

"What we are going to do we're going to sell hotdogs, chips, water, sodas and things like carnival for families. We'll have some games, face painting and really is going to be a fun little neighborhood event for everybody come and pitch in and help us reach our goal," Long Realty Representative Blake Croutch stated.

All donations will go to Yuma Regional Medical Center's Children Oncology fund.

The fundraising event is being held next Friday, September 30 at the Foothills Optimist Park located at 10440 Camino Del Sol in the Yuma Foothills from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m..
