Strong storms sweep through San Jose

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - A strong storm system brought heavy rain and winds to the bay area on Sunday.

The rain is expected to continue through early Wednesday with clearing skies on Thursday.

According to the national weather service, as much as three inches could be seen in some areas.

A wind advisory has been issued for the coast and coastal hills of the bay area until later this (Monday) morning.

Wind gusts could reach up to 45 miles per hour...experts say power outages are expected throughout the area.
