Yuma elementary teacher named as MVP in the Classroom

A James B. Rolle Elementary teacher was named MVP in the Classroom by the Arizona Cardinals and the University of Phoenix

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Justin Wolter, a 5th grade teacher from James B. Rolle Elementary was named MVP in the Classroom by the Arizona Cardinals and the University of Phoenix, he was recognized for his dedication to his students and as an outstanding educator.

Wolter received four AZ Cardinals tickets with parking, four pre-game field passes, a jersey and $500 for classroom supplies as an award, he attended the AZ Cardinals game at State Farm Field on September 11.

The Arizona MVPs in the Classroom is a community program by the University of Phoenix that recognizes outstanding educators in Arizona, Wolter was nominated by a colleague.

According to the Yuma School District One, Justin Wolter has numerous roles including 5th grade teacher, AVID site coordinator at James B. Rolle Elementary, a volunteer at the before/after school program, athletic coach at Woodard Jr. High School and a Summer School Site Coordinator.
