Ohio teen last seen leaving Atlanta airport

(CNN) - The Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, GA, the world's busiest airport, is now the focus of a nationwide search for a teenager.

"I'm asking for help if you've seen Emma or Zari."

Mike Linek is the father of the missing 17-year-old girl, who also goes by the name of Zarihas.

"Emma left Cleveland, Ohio, on Tuesday morning headed to the Boston area. She was traveling alone and had a connection here at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport," Christopher Macrae, Asst. FBI Agent in Charge, spoke.

In addition to going by Zari, Emma is clinically-diagnosed with autism.

"Our investigation has found video evidence of Emma at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport Tuesday morning. She was seen wandering through the airport and at times appeared lost," Macrae detailed.

While Emma's bags made it to Boston, she did not.

Agent Macrae says Emma was last seen leaving "North Daily Parking" with a man around 10 AM Tuesday morning.

"We've been in discussions with that individual, but at this time, we have not located Emma."

Not only that, Emma is critically endangered for several reasons.

"She needs to take daily medications, and she is not in possession of those medications at this time."

However, something else concerns investigators.

"Emma has no known connections in the City of Atlanta and has never been here before," Macrae discussed.

"She's a wonderful girl, a sweet and bubbly personality. She loves animals. She loves to sing, and we're anxious to have her back with us," Linek describes his daughter.

For further descriptions of Emma/Zari, she is 5-foot 3-inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. In addition, she has ties to Cleveland, Akron, and Twinsburg, Ohio.
