UPDATE: Police vehicle crashes into Yuma home

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma police gave an update regarding the vehicle that crashed into a home.

Police investigated the situation, saying the officer's lights and sirens were not turned on before the crash.

One person was inside the home but there were no injuries reported.

On July 25, a patrol vehicle was hit by a Toyota Yaris, which caused the officer to crash into a home.

The driver of the Yaris and the officer were taken to the Yuma Regional Medical Center then released after treatment.
