Reps 4 Vets turning to fitness and faith to save veteran lives

IMPERIAL, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Reps 4 Vets is a nonprofit in Imperial County that serves as a lifeline for veterans in distress. The nonprofit is building a permanent office at 4:13 fitness center.

The office will be used for faith based discussions, counseling, and fitness programs to keep veterans in good shape both physically and mentally.

Brendon Brown, owner and chief executive officer of Reps 4 Vets says he is grateful for the support.

"Most importantly this is for them to find peace and joy for them and their families, we have been in the valley for two years almost, we have had 63 veterans in the program, 4:13 donated a space to us and we will be converting it to an office," he said.

Additionally the county certified Reps 4 Vets and will be supporting Brown's efforts.
