Woman shot after road rage incident, says Yuma Police

Police still investigating incident

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Police Department says a woman was shot after a "possible road rage incident."

At about 6:55 p.m. on June 2, officers were called about shots fired on 14th Avenue.

Two women, a 20 and 24 year old, were said to be in an argument when a man who was with the 20-year-old, pulled out a handgun and shot the other woman.

The 24-year-old was then taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center, while the other two waited for officers to arrive.

YPD says this is an ongoing investigation and there are no outstanding suspects.
