Agents arrest migrants attempting to hide in desert east of Yuma
A post to social media showed how migrants tried to hide from capture
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - U.S. Customs and Border Protection made a post on social media regarding the capture of a group of migrants attempting to hide from agents.
The photo showed the migrants wearing green clothing and carpet booties, which are often worn to avoid detection while in the desert.
Agents say the group was found in the desert east of Yuma near Interstate 8, however, the migrants were then arrested.
