Ducey declares State of Emergency for Tunnel Fire

(KYMA, KECY/ NBC News) - Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has declared a State of Emergency for areas affected by the Tunnel Fire.

So far, the blaze has burned more than 20,000 acres.

Officials say the Tunnel Fire's flames could be fanned Friday by wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour in most of northern Arizona.

At least two dozen structures have been destroyed and thousands of residents of homes near Flagstaff have been ordered to evacuate.

As of Thursday afternoon, the fire was at 0% containment.
