Amazon unveils rocket deal to launch satellites into space
(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - Amazon is moving forward with a plan to provide internet connectivity all over the planet.
Amazon announced a deal with three rocket companies, to launch satellites that would beam internet signals from space.
They include United Rocket Alliance and the European space company Arianespace.
The third contractor is Blue Origin - owned by amazon founder Jeff Bezos - which is yet to build a rocket capable of reaching orbit.
