WASHINGTON (KYMA, KECY) - Senator Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) wants to introduce March as Social Worker Month in a way to honor those who worked during the pandemic in Arizona.

“Arizona’s social workers have served on the front lines during the pandemic caring for Arizonans at their most vulnerable, and we’re proud to recognize their service,” expressed Senator Sinema.

The Arizona Senator is introducing this resolution to acknowledge the contributions social workers made in schools, child protective services and hospitals.
