Man with multiple gunshot wounds, stolen puppy found in parked car

The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department said they received reports of a crash involving a parked car and a possible murder on Wednesday.

At around 12:12 a.m., officers went to South 6th Avenue and found a 30-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds in a car, then he was taken to a Phoenix hospital.

A French Bulldog puppy was also found in the car and was taken to the Foothills Animal Hospital, where it was discovered to have been reported stolen and has since been reunited with her family.

Police are still investigating the incident, as well as why the stolen puppy was in the car.
