Approximately 400-homes without power in Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Just after 2:30 p.m. emergency crews responded to Arena Drive and 10th Street for reports of a downed power line. Due to the danger involved with the amount of electricity in the line police and fire crews blocked the area off.

An emergency team from Arizona Public Service arrived on the scene to turn off the power to that grid. According to APS 372-homes were left without power.

The outage ranges from Bell Avenue to 14th Avenue and from 10th Street to 12th Street. APS estimates power will be restored to all homes by 7:30 p.m.
