Passenger jet with 100 people crashes in China

(KYMA, KECY/CBS) - Reports reveal a passenger jet carrying 132 people crashed in the southern mountains of China.

The Boeing 373 was said to have begun dropping altitude after an hour into the flight.

Rescue crews attempted to find more information as smoke and flames came from the site.

Hundreds of firefighters were sent to the scene but no survivors have been reported.

The airline says the crash and the cause of it are still under investigation.
