Fatal crash on County 14th Street and Avenue 14½

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma County Sheriff's responded to a fatal two-vehicle collision on County 14th Street and Avenue 14½ E.

On Wednesday, at about 12:29 p.m., sheriff's were notified of the crash.

The investigation showed a Honda Odyssey heading eastbound on County 14th Street while an EZGO golf cart traveled westbound on the same street.

The golf cart was struck and landed on its roof in a near barrier.

Hartman was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center for critical injuries where he later succumbed to them.

Next of kin was notified.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this collision.
