US bans Russian oil imports, recognizes rising costs
WASHINGTON (KYMA, KECY/ AP) - On Tuesday, President Joe Biden announced the United States ban of all Russian oil imports.
The president also recognized the rising costs that Americans will face at the gas pump.
This follows petitions from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for U.S. and Western officials to break off the imports.
"We will not be part of subsidizing Putin's war," said President Biden.
